Alodia on Toys, Social Media, and Cosplay

The Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Erika Tapalla interviews Filipina otaku queen Alodia Gosiengfiao on some of her geeky passions: toys, social media, and cosplay. Alodia’s haters even get special mention. It’s hard to believe a girl this pretty spends her Saturday nights bloghopping instead of clubhopping, surrounded by toys instead of boys. Welcome to the new […]

You fail on the internet rifleman17, I guess same goes with your life.

Wait a minute mr rifleman17. I understand what you are saying and that Mike has responsibility over this but Mike also has a point that he has provided Alodia an outlet for her to speak.

He makes a lot of positive posts about Alodia. I believe he is one of Alodia’s fans.

He is not the one creating controversy but the commentors .

I think your anger is misplaced don’t be angry with Mike be angry with the anonymous guy because if its not Mike’s site it would have been another and the results would have been the same.

Mike cannot be updated on his site 24/7 so please try to understand its not the bloggers but the imps and trolls named anonymous who start controversies.

Just in case your asking I’m also a blogger so is Jepoy so we understand what Mike is saying.

If Mike was wrong we’d be the one to tell him first.

I hope we can all calm down and focus on the real issue somebody lambasting our very own geek chick Alodia.

She has a life outside being a celebrity so let’s at least respect that.

you’re wasting your time.. kill teh n00bs.

      • rifleman17 says:

Amusing. When one of your fellow bloggers opted for a smart and civilized discussion, you reprimanded him quickly with a quirky remark.

        • jepoy says:

lol.. you are really clueless aren;t you? We’re sitting beside each other and that comment of mine is actually what you call humor.

          internet. srs bizns.

Thank you for gracing me with an intelligent reply.

I’m not asking Mike to be update 24/7 with his blog and be omniscient in everything that happens in it. I’m also not dissing bloggers in general. I just wished that he said something when the discussion was going sour, and perverted. Yet he didn’t reprimand the posters, instead he stood by, reading every post and enjoying them with this jepoy.

It is obvious that Mike is not against Alodia. As far as I see in his blogs he is a very, very big fan. This is why its even more disappointing that when someone dissed and disrespected someone he admires, he just sat around and enjoyed the view.

Accountability. All that I ask. One quick “Hey that’s not right….” would have been easy…

    Cool rifleman17. Cool ka lang.

I guess what Mr. Abundo is saying is that he has no control over those who post comments on his blogs. The reason whe are able to post is probably the same reason Anonymous was able to start this word-war. We all have our right to free expression.

I’m on your side dude, but hey, this is Mr. Abundo’s blog after all.

WHoa. Thats one hot cosplayer. Reminds me of Arisa Mizuhara, only a little different. Hope her 35 yr. old bf is a gentleman, cuz this one looks like a keeper.

I’ve seen conventions and we need more cute cosplayers like her in our cons here at the U.S. of A.

I just see a ton of Bleachers and Narutards here. Most don’t look like the characters. Ironically, they are cool and likable people.

But I still would like to see (and photograph) some cute asian cosplayers. Girls preferably.
