speaking of which, mediacorp (singapore) just bested all other asian tv networks including gma and abscbn in a broadcasting award…(i forgot the exact name)…
With GMA hawking poser programming like this, I’m not surprised. 😛

Another way of saying it:
Local network: “Why should we listen to you online geeks, you do not know anything about our business, the money involved, and the people behind and above us.”
Compared to Channel News Asia, well, I’ve witnessed how they listen and seen how flexible they are. They adjusted their shows, they even replaced their hosts with someone more fitting and more knowledgeable. :p
Offline media arrogance is a recipe for disaster. Just look what happened to Sam Zell. 🙄
