“Stay away, lad! That’s Prime’s fight!” — Kup, in the original 1986 Transformers animated movie. I just watched Michael Bay’s Transformers movie at the Gateway Globe Platinum Theater. I bet Mike will quote Jimmy again and add his own wittisism. So boring already.
Jimmy, so what artsy-fartsy “intellectual” film have you written and directed recently? Are you a Martin Scorsese, Brian de Palma or Francis Fred Coppola in the making? I’m sure you are, as you find Transformers so idiotic.
@eloisa
one bee-otch fit coming.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking about. The future world of Idiocracy, a cautionary tale about the dumbing-down of society, features a blockbuster called Ass. This blockbuster has no story. No one could tell whose ass was onscreen, and nobody cared. Ass won an Oscar for best screenplay.
In Bay’s movie, you can’t tell who’s fighting who, and you can’t bring yourself to care. If this is what passes for cinema, then the idiocracy is upon us.
I find it funny when people start ranting like a girl who has her period, punctuated by “idiot,” “dumb,” and “stupid.” I can’t understand why some are mad as hell, as if they didn’t know who made the film. It’s just like approaching Harrison Ford for an autograph, knowing all along he’s an ass then when he tells you to scram, you get offended and call him an ass. How crazy is that?
