“Stay away, lad! That’s Prime’s fight!” — Kup, in the original 1986 Transformers animated movie. I just watched Michael Bay’s Transformers movie at the Gateway Globe Platinum Theater. Believe it or not, it’s even more of an abomination than everyone expected it to be — from jumpy editing to fake graphics to gibberish computerspeak to […]Click here to continue reading "Transformers Movie Review: Optimus Prime was Robbed!"...

    To youguysareinsane:

No I was no looking for faults in the movie. I went in with an open mind, and if I didn’t I would have been one of those who complained that they don’t look like this or that, etc…It’s just that those moments were so obvious, that I could not help but see those faults. Again where was the gaffer?

“I respect my readers enough to think they can handle spoilers.”

wow, man that is quote of the day.

when you really want to see a certain movie, i hope your friends respect you enough to tell you how it ends for you before you go see it.

No Ruben, I was talking to that Abundo Clown. But, reading just a couple lines of your comments makes me believe your definitly a Homo also! I cant believe with an ass lashing I gave this Abundo, he replies with not one witty comment. What an Ass Clown! What a Homoerogenous Forum you have here! I dont know where you people came from but, bashing the Transformers is like pulling Mother Theresa’s panties down. You just dont do it…You should be happy to see any rendition of a Transformers movie. You should be ashamed to call yourselves a 1980’s generation. You homo excentrics need to stop picking everything apart and also stop using Film Major vocabulary. Why, because noone cares and the people that do roll 12 sided die!
Abundo, you are a punk and I know this for your weak comeback. Im shaking in my boots? Are you fur reel? I dont need to slap you to make you cry. All you need is a good verbal twart to make your anus pucker. Feel that, thats your pride Bee Otch! And you Ruben, dont get me started. I already feel that much dumber for responding to this Gaypisode you two are ranting about. You already made me feel that much stupider. Thankyou.
Lastly, please dont let me see you in T2!

So now, seeing a lack of story, character, and action automatically denotes homosexuality.

Welcome to the dumbing-down of society.

I read Mike’s first comment and i share some of his opinions. I almost managed to read every comment posted (mostly repeated emotional dribble). There are some really good points from both perspectives.

I manged to walk out of the cinema with a half smile on my face. I just really wanted to see some cool transformer battles. I could bearly make out what was happening in the majority of action scenes. Starscream’s mid-air transforming/dogfighting was exactly the kind of innovative film making i was hoping to see across the board (something michael bay should be capable of).

There is one thing i know about Hollywood. They made this movie not with the wishes of key demographic cross sections in mind. They made it hoping they could make a sequel followed by a few prequels. While this ordinarily ruins great original movies, in this case it will give Hollywood some time to take in our feedback and MAYBE improve the next one for EVERYBODY??

oh and i will just add for those that say it was the movie of the year (When that actor slid his bike under a decepticon guns blazing……….I felt embarassed). Triple X must be your favourite movie.
