Tweet My Gaming Tracks Games on Twitter

Tweet My GamingNow here’s an idea that’s elegant in its simplicity: a realtime feed of video game conversations on Twitter. Not only does Tweet My Gaming catch mentions of games in tweets, it also tracks gaming trends among twitterers. Unsurprisingly, the recently released Sims 3 is about six times hotter than World of Warcraft right now.

Tweet My Gaming comes from the folks behind gamerDNA, a social network for gamers. Gamers are an extremely vocal lot online, so it makes a lot of sense to track gaming trends via social media.

Okay this is a long shot but what’s with the hatred of World of Warcraft, Its a pretty good game, and everytime i see you mention it, you bash it.

Sims 3 is a very good game, Infact i am playing it right now, coincidentally i am also a World of Warcraft player which makes me wonder, what’s the connection of both games? The sales? I think so, but seriously your bashing of WoW is unjustified.

On the contrary, I’m using World of Warcraft as a positive example. The fact that Sims 3 is hotter than WoW, a game with 11.5 million players, bodes very well for the future of Sims 3. 😉
