Well thats somewhat fail. Coming from someone who lives in the States, I think a lot of the features on those phones are wasted just because the local celphone providers dont offer the same crappy service as celphone providers in the US (Yes, Im saying that US celphone companies are lagging behind in technology and services and that Philippine Celphone companies can provide affordable and more advance services).
Also, Verizon uses a CDMA network rather than a GSM network like what they have in the philippines unless they’ve found a workaround that completely converts the phone. Buyer Beware!
Thanks for the heads-up, Red! 🙂
just stumbled upon this website. i bought my storm as part of a plan in the states and i’m looking for somewhere to unlock it here in the philippines. does anyone know where i should be able to do so?
anyway, the storm has BOTH CDMA and GSM capabilities. it’s one of the “world phones” that verizon offers, so you can indeed unlock it and use it here with a local SIM once it’s unlocked, either through verizon or a 3rd party. oh, and its only $200 with a 2-year agreement through verizon wireless, so who knows, if u kno someone in the states with a verizon plan, u can probably get it for MUCH cheaper than ~p52,000
mike abundo, kahawig mo yung writer ng utena,si Kunihiko Ikunihara.
Since I love Utena, I’ll take that as a compliment. 🙂
do you have the manga of utena, nagustuhan ko ending nun pati yung manga nga adolescence of utena, meron kasi ako ng ganun,i like chiho saitou’s art i hope there’s another work of her translated.
Sorry, I don’t have the manga. I do hope to see more of Chiho Saitou’s art animated, though. 🙂
Little trivia, Infomax was known as Virra Mall Computer Center a few years back 😛
Guys, if want discounts on Infomax products just send me an email. 😉
I miss the grungy cutting-edge skunkworks feel of Virra Mall. Good to see Infomax still has it. 🙂
I have a blackberryphone 8800. But I just accidentally dropped it on the floor. Now, it wont work. I don’t know where the service centers are. Any ideas?
“Storm for PhP 52,500”, yay! i’ll be saving a lot once i get mine. 🙂
Woohoo! Happy new phone, sis! 🙂
