  1. Well, I do walk the line between genius and insanity, but that doesn’t mean I’m a crackpot. Of course, you’re free to say whatever you want — but I’m happy to help people further despite the name-calling and “you’re crazy” comments. The world needs more heroes: and I’m here to be one. Thanks for covering my video post: it is kind of a weird video, but I don’t know how else to “come out” about this.

    having the idea for a video-sharing site and coming up with a domain name are two different things. i can’t believe that you would use the actual registration of a domain name as proof of concept. i’m sure the guys that eventually did make youtube.com considered several domain names; but this doesn’t mean their idea wasn’t consistent no matter what name they have chosen.
