I know Brian’s good at voice acting, but I didn’t think it was possible to make Akio sound even more lascivious than he already is. 😛
Thanks for the credit guys, I know he is one of your favorites Mike, (you did cosplayed him, diba?)… I usually play villain roles in Anime (which I love doing by the way, eg. “Mao Dante” in Demon Lord Dante) but this, is one of the best characters I took. I gotta admit Akio is one sexy guy. 😀 And it was a challenge to sound so seductive, romantic, all-knowing, and powerful at the same time. My favorite line would have to be in the scene where Akio lays Utena in the car and says,, “gusto mo bang ibili kita ng singsing na babagay diyan sa suot mong damit?..” He is such a beautiful devil.
The funny thing is, I haven’t had the chance to catch and watch this on television. They say its been re-ran twice because of its success (same time because of content :D) I do hope to see it one of these days. 😀 Thanks again dudes and more power!

You should watch your own performance sometime. It’s amazing. In fact, you should send a sample to the Akio international voice database. You can hold your own even against the world’s best Akio dubbers. 🙂
At the same time you made Akio sound even more seductive, your voice actress made Utena sound even more dense. I just watched your dub of their love scene, where Utena just babbles on and on about nothing in a futile attempt to handle the pleasure.
The confused Japanese Utena voice probably tested Akio’s sexual patience. The impenetrable Tagalog Utena voice was probably enough to make him grab some Viagra.
