Behold The Blue Thunder of Furinkan High! Thanks to Ian Cang for excellently reinterpreting me as the proud samurai Tatewaki Kuno from the classic anime Ranma 1/2 at the AME Gakuensai anime convention. So it was the famous Mr. Mike Abundo afterall XD If I got it right you’re the one who approached as a while ago terrified/curious/amazed of my friend’s “flatform shoes”. LMAO. well as she said, there were no magic tricks.
But despite of being at least 6feet tall, she wasn’t able to spot Ms. Gosiengfiao. Which is, well, sad. Hope we’d see her in MOA tho. ^^
I also went to the event. I cosplayed as Yuuichi (from Kanon) there.
Yeah, there were many reactions to Alodia’s no-show written in the “freedom board”.
Kikasa: Dude, those things were huge! I’m six feet tall, but I was afraid she’d step on my shorter friends! 😛
Moonlight: Yeah, I asked Ian about Edj, too. I didn’t get to read the reactions on the freedom board, though. Can you quote some of them here?
Re: the freedom board:
I didn’t get to remember the exact writings, but as far as I know, the reactions vary from disappointment to outright ridicule (sorry, Mike, but I read a reply saying “Alodia is just a spoiled girl hogging for attention”).
Whoa. Yeah, Edj’s haters can get pretty nasty. I’ve been in meetings with media executives venomously dissing her. One hater even built a hate site dedicated to her.
That’s celebrity for you, I guess. Even your mere absence makes waves. 😛
