Hmm…cards need transaction history before it can be used by PayPal? I used my EON card with PayPal before I did anything else with it. I waited a 2-week activation period from the time I claimed my card. Afterwards, I was able to attach it to my PayPal which I then used for my very first Internet shopping spree.

Oh yeah, this was back in May 2007.

  3. UnionBank secured it already or at least they are very active in telling the nation that their EON works for PayPal.

Many Filipinos forgot about other banks with Visa Electron, and one of them even dropped it! (bad timing for them) – BDO-EPCI.

    LOL

Depositing at least 100 or 100 pesos in your EON card also means you are getting a transaction history already.

I like this info of yours.. Dati may EON card na ako, but I lost it (pickpocket, nyaks!) Since hindi ko naman siya ginagamit, wala narin siyang silbi sa akin, so never ko na siyang ni-renew ulit. Now, I have had problems with clients who prefer paying me (as VO talent) for online transactions using paypal. I guess I have to get another EON card.

Does anyone have any idea if Metrobank offers this thru their ATMs? Thanks for the info guys!
