Why do I want to play Lineage 2? Simple. PURE MMORPG GOODNESS. I mean, ever since the dawn of the MMORPG market in the Philippines (Ragnarok Open Beta), I’ve been dead hooked on these games, saving my allowance just to go adiktus mode on weekends. Now, after 20 MMOs (Local and International, Private and Official), I’m still not content.
The Hype around this game is high, pretty much in every country you go. I want to know if this game can live to the hype, which I’m very sure of considering that A) It’s a sequel, so the original must have been great, B) A pseudo-expansion is already out.
Gameplay wise, I’m intrested in the races, classes, skills etc. These are what define an MMO. Make an unbalanced class, and you’ll be creating a game where most people that don’t play that class will be pissed off with the game, thus ending their virtual life in that game. Add to that visuals that look like hell (even with a low end video card, it’s still something to wow at), Great replay ability (getting the highest level doesnt mean it’s over), Castle Sieges of epic proportions. Perhaps it’s too much to write down at a very short time.
I havn’t really played this game, but I don’t believe that just because you’ve reached a certain level on another server, or you play this game for hours till morning, you know everything there is to this game. The experience that comes with the first few levels is what determines how the game will play out in the end. And I know Lineage 2 SEA will deliver. Just like it always had.
I’ve been longing for Lineage II and I hope you will fulfill my dream. I want to play this game because , basically , one of the best PvP-centric MMORPG out there 😀 and I hope to meet lots and lots of friends in the game. Thank you ^^
