ba si gyaban… yung unang metal hero… pinayagan ba talagang gamitin yung mga costumes dati… eh icon na yun sa japan di ba… sa yuropa nga di ba naging x-or ang tawag sa kanya…
sana naman sariling tokusatsu nalang ang gawin nila… pero kung gusto nyo talaga ng remake eh… tignan natin kung magiging for all audience ang target nilang baka naman parang maging pangbulilit nanaman yan… baka this program is for kids only and not age over 12… hehehe…

Anyway, about BatangX, in my opinion, mas maganda na lang kung hindi na lang i-revive ang BatangX because the pitfall of a revival is that it (the story, the effects, the director’s style and even the actors) will always be compared to the original. Like what happened to Zaido. Gagawa ng spin-off tapos lagpak naman sa standard ng original and to think na sinabi ng prod staff lalo na ni Direk Zapatos na mas modern ang style nila dahil year 2007 na and 80’s pa yung Shaider–kaso, kabaligtaran ang nangyari dahil ang show ng sinasabing ninuno ng tatlong Zaidorks ay mas maganda at mas high tech pa costume at mas astig ang fighting moves kumpara sa sinasabing spin off na Year 2007.
About the revival of Gavan…huwag na lang magbitaw ng mga salita na sa katagalan pala ay kakainin lang at sana gandahan nila–pero, PWEDE BANG HUWAG NAMAN SI JOROSS?!
Susmaryosep, katawan at itsura ni Joross (pasintabi sa mga fans niya na nagagawi dito) ay pang-light drama. Kung may magpo-portray sa bossing ni Shaider, dapat yung mukhang astigin na kayang makipag-basagan ng mukha at hindi mukhang kabasag-basag ang pagmumukha!

Anyway, about GARO, kung mapapayagan siya na ipalabas dito sa Pinas, malamang sa later timeslot siya mailalagay dahil ang storyline niya is not for kids.
About the revival of Batang X, I firmly stand by my belief that it shouldn’t be revived anymore.
The pitfall of a revival is that everything and everyone involved with it will always be compared to the original–from the director, the storyline, the costumes, and even the actors.
Look at what happened with Zaido. Ang nakasama pa nito is the writers and the director disregarded the fans of the original Shaider and relied on their “sariling atake”. Did it work? Well, perhaps for the actors’ loyal fans but not the Shaider fans.
Regarding the revival of Gavan, I hope the people behind this upcoming project will not repeat the same mistakes done by Wilma Galvante and GMA. Just one thing it bothered me–PWEDE BANG HUWAG NA SI JOROSS?!!!
Kung maghahanap sila ng susunod sa yapak ni Mr. Kenji Ohba (hanggang ngayon alive and kicking pa rin siya) sa pagportray ng predecessor ni Shaider, dapat yung itsurang astigin at kayang makabasag ng mukha at hindi yung madaling basagin ang mukha!
Pasintabi sa mga fans ni Joross pero, bagay lang si Joross for comedy and light drama–not a kick-ass show at baka lumabas niyan, yung as* niya pa ang laging naki-kick.
