oo nga ano bkit hindi nalang si Rochelle Pangilinan…agree ?dapat ung mdyo…showy ng kaonti hindi pwede ung pa girl masyado at action star…sana marinig ito ng GMA 7…tama si angel sa papel na annie nalang…at si richard sa shaider…Sorry Marky pero mas deserving sila…tutal may mga show panaman si marky…Kasi dito sa Pinas usong uso ung paramihan ng show khit nakakasawa na..i mean the same artist…

I respect your opinions. Richard G. really has all the star qualities. But too much of him would bore audiences except his avid fans. Let’s give other talented or even newer stars a chance. Who knows, they could do great and even better than what we thought. I think Marky C. fits okay with the character role. We don’t need icings of personality here. I think he can bring justice in portraying Alexis/Shaider. Angel is sweet but I won’t recommend her. I am eyeing for somebody who’s agile, snappy, and a bit sporty. A remake doesn’t really have to a hundred percent duplicate of the original artists but if we find one and befits the role then why not? One thing more, they need to play with the Amazonas’ costumes. I think Iwa Moto is a good choice as well as the others in the group. I don’t expect them to be dressed up like the original. They look like dancers or assistants in a circus or magical show. Designers must be creative enough to make it look just right for the 21st century audiences. I suggest the following pointers:
1. It must be fast phased
2. Actors must be bold with their dialogues. No ad-libs please!
3. No unnecessary movements and facial expressions.
4. Make the remake serious, not much comedy… create a spoof if they like but not here.
5. Refrain from having actors lining up the screen like stand up comedians. Make moving backgrounds like people doing their natural chores.
6. No too much explanation on what’s gonna happen. Let the viewers find it out them themselves. Put some mysteries in short. Joey de Leon is famous in too much explanation in his comedy sitcoms/funny video programs. (sorry Joey ;-P).
7. Urban setting please!!!
8. No dramas, cry babies, and blah blah blah!
9. No unnecessary gay roles to entertain audiences. If they insist in having one please do respectable portrayal.
10. No adopted child to look for his/her real mom, real father or real achu-chu-chu…
11. Make Shaider really a world defender and not the usual smaller scope.
12. Scrap mediocre directors and staff!
If they won’t consider these pointers, the remake is as ‘good’ as rubbish…

Maybe ur right about what Saban did to Masked Rider: it’s very mediocre!
But Saban is dead when Disney bought Saban in 2002. Ya know, there will be an American adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki entitled “Kamen Rider Dragon Knight” at ang director nito ay walang iba kundi ang mga Wang Brothers (Steve and Mike Wang. Well, Steve Wang is a Kamen Rider fan at siguradong pagagandahin niya ito.)
Power Rangers is heavily geard on children, but there are some PR shows that reached Sentai quality like:

Power Rangers Time Force-the best Saban adaptation ever. Ito ang tanging Power Rangers show na hindi masyadong pambata. It has a darker theme, has a mature content at ang kwento at konsepto ay pareho sa Mirai Sentai Timeranger.

Why accuse only the director…but not the producers of the show. Its stupid that you all accuse one person and judge a remake that is not even out yet. Siguro kung ABS CBN ang gagawa nito you guys will probably have a different comment here. Plus, if you are an observant person…all COUNTRIES try to buy some rights on series that became a hit. US is very good example of exploiting such thing…if you need example…go THINK hard and find out which shows were a copy or a remake. You will be surprise that most US hit shows are a remake of something. About the Shaider remake…my comment is…it is interesting how filipinos will tackle this one…you guys just lack the imagination…all you guys do is yap and criticize things…sige nga…you guys try making a series…maybe you guys will eat all the things you said about the director. GYAN NAMAN MAGALING ANG MGA MAYAYABANG EH HANGGANG SALITA KULANG NAMAN SA GAWA.
