As explicitly stated in the deviantART Terms of Service, the very act of uploading content to that service gives third parties permission to copy, distribute, and display said content.
sure that’s valid, but in this case, the Owners (Alodia and Tricia) wanted a personal approach to getting permission. You can read it up on her post. and now that you’ve been informed, maybe you can do this on your next Alodia-based post.
Read up on Alodia’s previous words and digest it well so you won’t have to pass out gas all the time.
Polidread: That’s funny, the deviantART Terms of Service do not mention any opt-out to that provision.
Oh, and those Terms of Service are more than just “valid”. They form a legally binding contract with anyone who uses that Service.
