If you really cared for the infosharing,
a private message to the person would have nipped all of this in the bud woudnt it?
It’s as if Alodia’s so difficult to send a message to.
Guys, Engadget took 2 of my photos and reposted them on their website, not even a single credit to my name was written. I could have burst in anger on their blog but I didn’t. They did post a linkback to my blog, the most precious token a website/blog owner could get.
Don’t you know that I saw the caramel dance performed by Alodia on some Chinese guy’s blog without any links to Alodia’s site? And a lot might be posting the videos on their respective websites or blogs without even proper links or credit.
This is the internet guys, if you don’t want others to use your pictures, restrict or password protect them, put a site watermark on your videos or pictures. But if you can’t there’s no stopping anyone on reposting your videos or pictures wherever they like. As long as they’re linking back to your site or mentioning your name/site as credits, and not altering the pictures, etc. your pictures and videos will be fine. But if someone alters or even sell these pictures, that’s a different story that can be dealt in court.
Besides, this site has a Google PageRank of 5 that would made everyone wanting a linkback from Mike.
