Just heard from my friend Steven Vivero that some cosplayers from Bacolod will be flying into Manila for ToyCon 2010. Jessica will be flying in from Cebu. Cosplayers from all over the Philippines will be flying in for this year’s ToyCon. 😀
I was amazed by the number of cosplayer in the Philippine area. We are not as lucky here in the US to have such a fan base as you.
I guess the closeness to the Japan helps with the variety of stuff. I saw a post by a friend that there was a big Gundam sale at Toys R Us – LOL – something that would not happen here 🙁
Being near Japan certainly doesn’t hurt, Dan. I’m glad you like the Philippine cosplay scene! 😀
