I mean c’mon the Phil.Gov.should ban the hentai anime in the Philippines because of the negative influence on the Filipino people that’s ok for me,but banning something that is not important now that’s stupidity to the highest level….

and if you really pissed off at those politicians here in our country, then 4 those politicians who will support or responsible 4 the congress bill(which is stupid)then u should never vote 4 them in the 2010 Election.

So Mr.Mike Abundo, please tell me who is responsible for that stupid bill in the Congress?

    • Mike Abundo says:

Authors of the bill are Reps. Monica Prieto-Teodoro (1st District, Tarlac), Darlene R. Antonino-Custodio (1st District, South Cotabato), Rene M. Velarde (Party-List, BUHAY), Ignacio T. Arroyo (5th District, Negros Occidental), Rufus B. Rodriguez (2nd District, Cagayan de Oro), Narciso D. Santiago III (Party-List, Alliance for Rural Concerns), Matias V. Defensor (2nd District, Quezon City), Jr., Lorenzo Tanada III (4th District, Quezon), Edgardo M. Chatto (1st District, Bohol), and Luzviminda C. Ilagan (Party-List, Gabriela).

Sir Mike, thanks 4 the info, and by the way those politicians that u mentioned in this forum,I’m sure that most of the people here in our country will get mad at those authors of that said bill right now. They should be never voted in the next year’s election. And Don’t forget that next year’s election is going to be a computerized election(that includes the OFW’s as well)but unless the dumbass voters would care because those dumb voters r going to vote those politicians by next year.

    • hehe, never mind… I have a comment but the system always claim “your comment is a bit spammy” :p

Mike, your setting is too restrictive 😉

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Nice one, Sir Mike! I LOL’d at this fucking bill!

What’s next after Cha-Cha brawls, stupid useless laws? Seriously, instead of wasting taxpayers’ money over shit, the people back at Batasan should do something sensible.

Now to go back to the LOLfest.

    WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! =))

  4. what about free speech and freedom of expression? hindi naman harmful ang mga animations.

  5. My main concern is that they defined (at least according to the Press Release) “Hentai” as “child pornography” when it is just a small part of it.

Secondly, what the heck is with getting penalized if you have hentai in your personal sketchbook?! It is acceptable that downloaders/torrents/p2p’ers are penalized even at home, it is piracy no matter what (if it isn’t FLOSS-CC btw :p ) but getting penalized because of your PERSONAL sketchbook??

That’s crazy. If they don’t update it, I wouldn’t trust the future of this country into their hands.

Or maybe, the writers of that Press Release are the ones who doesn’t know anything, and used “Hentai” to refer to “child pornography”. I do not know, I can’t find an online version of that Bill.

    PS
@Mike: I think I know what’s happening. If I post a Comment like the above, it gets detected as “spammy”. What I did then was to post 1 short paragraph first, then ‘Click to Edit’ and re-posted the whole comment. It worked that way.

    • Mike Abundo says:

Ah, so that was the problem. Glad you got it working, JC. That we can’t find an online copy of the bill is symptomatic of the lack of transparency in government.

      • Yeah, maybe they don’t really want inputs, they’re just doing this because of the elections? Hehe. If they want to have Press Releases of Bills, they should provide a copy of the Bill, in this case, it will be clearer who really defined “Hentai” as “child pornography”. I better warn my friends who have hentai sketchbooks.
