Grabe! there was an episode in Zaido which I happened to watch over Youtube…It’s even worse than Desperate housewives, where Teri Hatcher said “before we can go any further, can I check those diplomas? ‘Coz I wanna make sure they’re not from SOME medical school in the Philippines…”. But check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji1Qdb9ATFg. Go to time 1:44 and 2:27 where Dennis Trillo said “hostile yata ang mga nilalang sa planetang ito…nasa planetang earth na ba ‘ko?!… Pilipinas na ba ‘to?!…” See how crap the dialogue was… what kind of portrayal about the Philippines are they catering for the world audiences? And what is it all all about the Philippines, of all the countries in the world, and landed there exactly, and again in a rural setting! How about landing first in Hongkong or somewhere in Glorietta Makati? Is this just to show a time frame or gap of technology between a galactic whatever and the Filipino people…and wearing such costume is something new to their eyes?! Don’t they have television sets at the time being and are so amazed at Dennis Trillo wearing a trick or treat party costume…So absurd!!! >:(
