Hello po uli! According to my bro Shishiyo, it seems that we are slowly winning against the giants. By the way, welcome Spirit. Please take a look at the Panatang Maka-Tokusatsu. I’ve edited some parts of it (thanks Kamen!), pa-check na lang kung pwede na:

Bilang ganti, panonoorin ko lamang ang mga totoong Tokusatsu shows at hindi rip-off lang.
Hindi ko papaburan ang mga shows na walang kalidad at bumabase sa ratings lang.
Tutuparin ko ang mga tungkulin ng isang mamamayang makabayan at masunurin sa batas kagaya nina Shaider, Sharivan at Gavan.
Ipagtatanggol ko ang dignidad ng Tokusatsu nang walang kabayaran at ng buong katapatan
Sisikapin kong maging isang tunay na Tokusatsu fan

I think thats how western TV has always been and why its so dynamic. I mean ngayun there is a influx of DETECTIVE THEMED TV shows w/ a mix-up of abilities (Painkiller Jane, Truth calling, Veronica Mars, CSI, Law and order) then meron ung mga well put together shows katulad LOST, Prison Break, Entourage o kaya HEROES. You look at pinoy primetime TV and nothing changes. Its just a love story in a different package. The worst really is when you have a creative group attempt to make a toku-themed show and they already ruined the costumes (robo-cop ang dating). They ruin the concepts (space ships look strikingly similar to X-wings, flies like slow ass F-15s and you can BUMP THEM without a drastic change in physics?) and presentations (GU leader looks like M. Bison, star-trek logos) and the best part is NONE of the Kapuso’s CANNOT back up to justify the story, the characters, the usage of 3D (even rotoscoping effects on music vids mean more than the 3D they use in the show) and the overall feel. I know they took out the ratings but in the trivia section in the zaido wiki, it makes less sense to put references of the metal heroes stuff in ZAIDO as a HOMAGE. Because ZAIDO is ANYTHING but a homage to the metal heroes. Blasphemy…
Hay naku, sinabi mo pa CoCa! One of the best shows released recently is Heroes, parang comic book sci-fi ang theme nya. Nami-miss ko tuloy yung old Star Trek series (pinaka-fave ko kasing Star Trek character is Mr. Spock kasi fave actor ko si Leonard Nemoy saka sabi ng mama ko sa kanya daw ako pinaglihi kaya nga daw sa itsura ng tenga ko–ngek!) at Twilight Zone (I consider it as a BIG classic!). Naku, wag na nating mabanggit ang mga shows na yan at baka magkaroon ng idea yung mga Zaidork producers na gumawa ng rip-off ng CSI (re-titled: NBI starring Richard G., Dennis “d Zaido menace”, at mga ka-love team), Heroes (retitled: Bayani starring Bayani Agbayani) o kaya Lost (retitled: Istranded. Tungkol sa mga byaherong pupunta ng Laguna at nawala sa Elliptical Road). I tried editing Zaido pero may buhay pa ring bayaran na in-edit out pa rin yung page na pabor sa kanila. Kung sino ka mang bayarang Prosti ka, hala sige, i-edit mo yan dahil bayaran ka naman talaga at diyan ka nabubuhay. Kahit i-edit mo yan na naaayon sa pantasya ng mga nagbabayad sa ‘yo, hindi nyo na maiaalis na maraming flaws at complete rip-off ang show niyo.
Ahahaha! Ganun ba ang ginawa mo flamerounin? Bakit kaya walang signal? Eh kung gumamit na lang kasi sila ng Baron Super Antennae (fyi: nasubukan ko ito nung nasa Baguio kami at mahina ang signal ng cell ko. Nung tumabi ako sa antennae ng TV, lumakas!) para mas kabilib-bilib! Sabagay, mapo-promote pa nila yung taga-kabila!
