DUMInic (dirty)-nic zapata’s personal alalays and small time casts will be paid the same when they make the “remake” right. Too bad it’s an extreme crap! Hell, dennis trillo has to say with words all his plans… typical filipino basta-basta movies. Big foreign films don’t aid us in understanding what’s going on with the show right away… and it’s for you to figure it out! That’s why it’s visual. GMA rather has to air it on the radio to line up with Gabi ng Lagim. And I could barely say that I’m better off than Madam Auring with my predictions… What I forecasted before is now happening to Zaido! Everything is a crap! By the way, those pro-Zaido who join the GMA forums (whatever) are remnants of the Kopongkopong Tribes. So what do we expect with their tastes. They are all miserable bunch of rotten puke (vomit/blow). Their skull is void and non enuf of neurons left to adjust with the latest technology. Ok, fair enuf, Lorna T. is really a good actress and the rest of the cast. How about slapping faces using gadgets to make it somewhat tekki if they can’t do away with their rural settings. or a gangwar (if they will include) with riot machines all equipt with lasers while wearing sandos and tsinelas… you know what I mean… or girls involved in a luv triangle quarrel with “sabunutan” scenes are to use tekki tools to pull off their opponent’s hair. If that happens, Zaido will have twist and I will be the first to enjoy just for the sake of watching. Final words: HA HA HA ! ! !

Honestly, WTF the local stations are doing to get that so-called “lowest common denominator” are encouraging other Filipinos to patronize cable TV.

ok i’ve been observing the two soaps lately and i noticed that they are still using stereotypical characters in zaido. u have the complete line of character stereotypes there. and these are the characters that you’ll be able to predict the story dozens of episodes before it actually takes that turn. lastikman on the other hand, has a stereotypical setting but uts characters are highly complex and multi-dimensional personalities that makes the story more interesting and unpredictable. and that more than makes up for the setting.
Thanks for the support pero I may lay off the idea for now. I’m in NCR so if I can get a hands on a decent camera and think of something decent then yeah.
My head’s cooled off the zaido thanks to the diaspola of pinoys going to petitiononline to sign the stupid thing about Philippines vs ABC (USA) about the Desperate Housewives comment. The joke was stupid and unfunny but Pinoys are going the lengths with this one, which could only end in embarassing ourselves.
People will probably point out the 3d effects but I think its most effective when used correctly, as opposed to showing it off in scenes that don’t really need it. And YES that inconsistenty w/ futuristic and the simple life really kills the sci-fi feel. Sure shaider was shot in the 80’s but it was HEAVILY consistent in making a progressive world where they were at. And the intro song that should ESTABLISH the show at the beginning to hype up the audience is like a boppy kiddie song. Maybe it if it were done by daft punk or something of that sound it would be COOL. but Sandwhich really kills it even before you dig in to watch.
