I’m not sure where you got your impression that i’m emphatically distubed by this diatribe.
I just cited comparisons to establish a baseline. You can’t directly compare apples to oranges. Viewer reach changes with the seasons for example. Anything launch in the summer for example would, in theory, have a higher rating than anything launched in the wet season, primarily because kids are home to watch and don’t have to worry about homework, also no school means less traffic, etc…
Therefore you need to look at the competition to see whether or not a rating is doing well or not. And Zaido is doing better than anything on the current prime time slot, which means that it is definitely not “talo”
It would also be a fallacy to compare Zaido with Shaider in terms of ratings. To begin with, TV vieweing habits have changed dramatically since the last time Shaider was well loved on TV. Also, it’s not a recreation or a re-telling of the oiginal story, it’s a new series which – in time – will either become a memorable part of the Shaider franchise, or Toei’s worst mistake.
And it’s not my Zaido. I couldn’t care less. But it’s definitely better than that ET rip off.
O RLY?! Do you really know what the original story of Shaider is? I guess not since you said that this is a new series and not a “re-telling”.
Watch episode 2 again and you’ll know what I mean, that is, if you know Shaider’s original story 😉
BTW, Kokey’s audience are kids… so budget wise, Kokey’s doing well with my younger cousins and even my grandma ;). Zaido is claimed to target kids, but what’s with the love triangle here and there and wtf? A kissing scene at the 2nd episode?!

-ok,may nalalaman k png pag summer mas maraming nanunuod,kung tutuusin summer vacation has no big effect on primetime ratings,dahil kung nagiisip ka ,pag gabi lahat ng tao nsa bahay ,kc tapos na ang work and definitely tapos na ang school hours,gumagawa man cla ng assignments im sure they are in front of televisions, , kaya parho lng ang numbers ng viewers summer man o hindi

Ung comment ko ay tungkol sa pagkagulat ko na 34 lng ang rating ng zaido ,oo mataas ung rating nla pero mababa kung icocompare sa iba png nagiging show ng gma ,AT MULI t ala akong binanagit ni isang show ng abs (lastikman ,kokey)
