Update… meron ng marimar ripoff… and sadly maraming nanonood ng marimar… jan sa kanto kanto!!
tsong di cya rip-off (bka magalit c fingers freaky sa “maling” paggamit mo ng word at bumalik cya, hehehe!). mas mlala pa yan sa rip-off dahil REMAKE yan. at eto pa mas mlala: as i observed, pilit nilang pinagmukhang mexican ang production setting, costumes, everything. khit dialog ata ay gnawa nlang mexican sounding ang delivery khit tagalog ang linya.
‘Shaider’ will not fly anymore on RP television.Ang dinig namin, hindi pumayag ang may-ari ng rights ng Shaider sa Japan na gawin ang local version nito sa Pilipinas.
Hmm mukhang nakahalata ang may ari ng rights ng Shaider at di pumayag. I will admit that I always watch gma 7 but when it comes to things na hindi na tama yung mga ginagawa nila ay I will be a critic. Una masyadong advance ang announcement ng network sa casting and it became disadvantage sa part nila. Maraming mga batang artista ang kinuha at yung lead ay bata rin. The role of Shaider ay masyadong maselan dapat inisip nila na “pulis pangkalawakan” may kakabit na big responsibility and to think na bata ang gaganap is far from it. Can you put the faith of the universe sa kamay ng isang “totoy”. pardon for my word. Marky Cielo is a good actor but too young. Second, masyadong teen star studded ang cast.
ung hindi man nagkaayos ang GMA-7 and the Japanese owner of the rights of the series to get the main character, napayagan pa rin ang Kapuso Network na ma-associate ang gagawin nilang primetime series na ipalalabas this year.
– Sana ayusin nila paggawa ng project na to. Para sa susunod eh pumayag na ang mayari sa rights. Just think out of the Philippines(think out of the box). Gawing world class ang paggawa. This is Shaider we are talking about..its not some old comics that you can do what you want. It has a worldwide following. mind you. Lets just pray na this is the moment na maayos yung paggawa ng mga adaptation not just for the sake of doing it.

i hope they dont f__k this up. maraming madi-disappoint pag binaboy nila ng gma 7 ang shaider. the series was so well loved that it spawned a cult classic rock song “time space warp” by balahibong pooza in the late 1990s!
