Hahaha….you’re the funniest dude I’ve ever met flamerounin. You’re replies do not even match with what I stated in my previous posts. Ok, I will answer you post by post so that your biased mind can easily grasp what I’m trying to point out.
Yes, Richard may not be the best martial arts actor in the country but at least he tried hard to get the posture of a real martial artist. Rounin actors, on the other hand, do not even know how to pose properly as martial artists. They look like pampered primadonnas trying to look tough. If Richard was trying hard, then what do you reckon those Rounin actors? Umm…not even trying?
You’re actually singling out GMA young actresses? Then what about Roxanne? What about Angelica Panganiban? What about Luningning? What about some of the women in Pinoy Big Brother? Don’t get me wrong dude. I don’t consider posing in a men’s magazine immoral. I can even tolerate hardcore porn and justify that it’s not immoral. The morality you’re talking about is off topic anyway. The morality I was talking about had something to do with a business entity’s corporate culture, the attitude and behavior of its employees and customers, and how it treats the society. I say ABS-CBN is immoral because, for instance, Wowowee is obviously giving false hope to a lot of poor people. They give money like it’s nothing, like saying “You don’t need to work…just go to Wowowee and you’ll get some Moolah.†This kind of behavior led to a tragedy that should have not happened. The network could have saved its face by removing the show permanently. However, it didn’t. Sayang nga naman mga kikitain pa nila sa mga advertisers. Bayaran nalang ang mga namatayan okay na yun! Hahaha…there’s your morality right there.
Final Fantasy? You must be kidding me! I’ve been playing that game since FFVII and I can say that Rounin is simply an insult to that masterpiece. Rounin’s concept is not that grand. It has been done before in numerous video games and animes, so what’s new? (Yes, I’m a video game and anime addict). Scene executions were also mediocre, not to mention the poor performance of the actors and actresses. That’s why I’m saying that Erik Matti is the most overrated director of all time. Special effects are not enough. Yeah, and one more thing…why bastardize the Japanese word Rounin? The writer is obviously not well-educated about the Samurai culture.
I don’t think Super Twins is a Sailor Moon rip-off. They only imitated the costume but not the story. It was also meant for child audiences so I understand why it turned out corny – because that would obviously click to child audiences. Rip-off is such a misunderstood term. What’s ripping off anyway? Is ripping off a costume counts? Maybe, but at least its not as worse as ripping off an entire video game story concept and not even giving justice to it.
Do you get what I mean now? Do me a favor – give a good rebuttal next time.

Hey, hey. Even Rounin sucked because it considered as a Star Wars rip-off, it seems that ERIK MATTI IS BORN TO DIRECT A TOKUSATSU SHOW. Nuff said. Even hindi patok ang kanyang Gagamboy, it gained international fame in the Hong Kong Film Festival because it serves as a parody of tokusatsu and superhero genres.

“Utak-squatter?†Umm…you must be referring to yourself. You cannot even stress a single point. What’s wrong with the opening and ending sequence snipping? When a network buys a right for TV airing, they can do whatever they want with that show. So who gives a fuck? Snipping them off would give the network more free air time. Is saving air time wrong? You obviously don’t know how things work…maybe it’s because you spend a lot of time in front of the idiot box, if you get my drift, lol.
Wikipedia is not a reliable source. A lot of claims there are widely disputed. Do your brain a favor by reading some books, journal articles, or even some reliable magazines next time. I bet you can’t even write a thesis paper by yourself. Your insults did not even get into my nerves, mind you. Don’t act like you’re all knowing or something or you’ll end up looking stupid. That’s my advice for you.
And yeah…if you’re talking about ‘masang mangmang’ watching TV, you must be talking about the viewers and supporters of Wowowee.
