Steve Wang was an Ultraman fan, watching it as a kid in Taiwan, before he moved to the US. I met Steve when he was still a teenager through a mutual friend, and we would get together and watch videos — I brought over stuff like KIKAIDA and KAMEN RIDER. I think it was the first time that Steve saw KAMEN RIDER. This would have been around 1982/83. Steve was a far bigger fan of SPACE SHERIFF GAVAN than KAMEN RIDER — mostly because of the stunts and camera work, which he worked into several of his early productions, such as THE KUNG FU RASCALS.

iba na yung dibdib nya eh… parang letter y na kulay pula ang nasa dibdib nya… tapos texture meteorites to at parang naka body armor dahil sa kulay gray na kasuotan nya… ang title lang kasi ultraman… wala ng second name pa… baka dyan sa tindahan sa tabi tabi meron… bilin mo yung 16 in 1 ultraman… panuorin yung huli… nakasulat ultraman movie… nabigla akong iba pala ang napanood ko kala ko kasi yung una parin di pala… parang remake sya… at makatotohanan ang mga settings… yung bida nagtatatrabaho bilang piloto ng f15 eagles… at may 2 bolang ilaw din ang dumating sa planetang earth sa kalaban blue at sa bida red… parang story line din ng una… ewan ko lang kung magkakapareho ang ibang ultraman pagdating dito… mahal ko na si ultraman… sa japan may live show ng ultraman…
