Flamerounin, I’ve checked the web and so far, the Maskmen remake was, fortunately, just a hearsay making rounds in different forums. But I’ll still keep my eyes, ears and net connection open should there be any confirmation in the network’s part. I do hope that Zaido will be the last time that a local network will put the Philippines to shame. (Flamerounin, hanggang ngayon, malakas pa rin sa kin ang epekto ni Inday, look o! 🙂 )
Susme, nagbabalak pa naman akong mag-abroad next year! Baka naman dun sa pupuntahan ko eh pagtawanan ako ng mga foreigner at sabihing magre-remake lang ang Pinoy ng classic, baboy pa ang pagkakagawa! (Take note: mula South America hanggang Europe eh naipalabas dun ang Space Sheriffs trio from Gavan to Shaider! Dapat inisip din ito ng mga producers ng Zaido!)
About the Maskman remake, I do hope those ABS CBN researchers will see what the REAL fans really think. If the producers can guarantee that they pull off this remake and make it at least as good as the original, then it’s kudos to them. But if they are unsure of the outcome, it is wise to salvage their network’s remaining dignity by aborting the plan.
