I have never seen such a big hate thread for Zaido! Hehe…
Post din ako dito… Heto ang mga nararamdaman ko dati pa about the show…
If truth be told, a new series for the Metal Hero series would be feasible, if only these factors were changed:
1. If they took in writers who are VERY FAMILIAR with the genre
2. If they took a director who is VERY FAMILIAR with the genre
3. If they used NEW ENEMIES instead of ‘recycling’ the old ones, and mind you, they didn’t do a good job
4. If they used the love story theme to somewhat gradual, and not as the main plot. The show is an action theme.
Anyway, I resigned from watching the show. I’m off to watch other things that are worth my time. Leave Zaido to other people who are not familiar with the series, nor the ones who doesn’t know where the term “Shoukestsu” came from…

KR, ano pa ba aasahan mo sa PEP. pinoy showbiz portal yan. ang pnag-uusapn lang ng mga tao dyan ay mga artista at kung anu anong kashowbizan. as i have seen in their threads, ni hindi nga cla nagpupunta sa level ng discussion ntin. tlagang totally puro intriga at artista lang cla. kya nga gustong gusto ng mga zaidorots dun e. pwedeng pwede cla magkalat dun ng walang mag-eengage sa kanila into an intelligent debate.
oo nga pla, meron din akong buhay sa lbas ng forum. meron pa akong thesis na kelangang tpusin at nang mkagraduate na. kya bka medyo magiging madalang ako magparamdam
wow!!! i couldn’t believe that my post would strike a chord (and raise a bit of a hell) in this thread. this is the most active thread that i have visited. like i posted the vid minutes before i left for UP Diliman, attended my classes, went back home, and tadaaaa!!! a slew of reactions.
by the way, i am the one who is responsible for the William Shatner video. if anybody is offended (or enraged) by the video, i sincerely apologize. as i have briefly stated in the post that i made, the video was a message to the both ends of the Zaido spectrum: those who really hate it, and those who really love it. the video was a response to the “fanboyism” of zaido, and also, some hardcore toku fans. not that i am saying that there are fan boys here, pero kung meron man, ang tamaan, magreact pero wag nman akong murahin.
im also a toku fan myself, being a part of the generation who have been weaned of the likes of Shaider, Bioman, Gavan (sa channel 9 pa noon), Jiban, Machine Man, etc. I have tried watching one episode of Zaido when i was on a bus my way home from UP Diliman (i have no choice but to watch it because the conductor tuned the TV on 7). all i can say is, it’s so terrible. REALLY TERRIBLE> But it’s so terrible to the pont that it made me almost dying of laughter. really. IT’S SO BAD, IT’S GOOD! Zaido gave me gas pains from laughing. it’s like watching a B-rated film, and appreciating how badly it was made. the fight scenes are so lame, the costumes are also lame, the prolonged posing of characters (which was typical in tokusatsu) was a trying hard effort, and the dialogs are laughable. if i want a laugh trip, i now know what show to watch.
to CoCa Fire, thanks for understanding the humor lying beneath that video. to Kamen Rider, sorry if i made u feel insulted. trust me, if im one of those zaidork fans (as you put it), i would be not making this lengthy post. my apologies again. Peace.
and yes, i do have a life. though im an anime and manga junkie (and an aspiring/frustrated manga writer and artist), i have a healthy social life, a job that i truly enjoy, a loving fiance who is my kindred soul, a lazy pet cat that sleeps on top of my PC monitor, and a Gundam Wing model kit collection. i get out often, enjoy life and every bit of it.
