L is overrated because of the fangirls in my opinion. They whore him out w/ the whole L/Kira thing. Plus since the movie came out as well his overexposure w/ his character has been excessive.

Well, even the author said that L going out like that was the best direction.
So good night sweet prince, and god speed, LaDies.

I love how L does everything, like how he holds evidence like its a piece of crap paper. 😛

But I am more of a Kira supporter, i just love the crazy yet intelligent idea’s he has and how evil he is. So i was pretty pleased by sawing L die.

But dont get me wrong i still like L! 😀

And boy do i hate the “replacement” of L, its all fake now the special feeling to show has has some how whitered. I hope im wrong somehow, and they will make it as good as with the times L was still alive.

Dammit you made feel sad! *runs to bedroom to weep eyes out* I really hate it when a fav charater dies.

L was kick ass. I don’t think the show will be half as good without him. I haven’t read the manga… but saw the show… had no idea he was going to die, so when he did, I thought that he was just faking it to get Light in the end… So I was wrong.. Damn. No one can replace L. Not Mellow, not Near, no one. So the show blows without him.

Who ever said L didnt have character, that was b.s. He had more character and emotion than anyone on the show, just in a very different way. Good character. Sucks ass he died.

I am a girl, but not something you would call a ‘fangirl’. L wasn’t overrated in my opinion. He was kick ass simply because he was different. That alone made him better than everyone else.

The author can kiss my ass for all I care, he made the show suck without him. It would have been better to make him fake his death, to get Light in the end. But of course this is just my opinion.

    In short, L was amazing.

That’s exactly what happened in the movies. 😉
