Good point, JC. It wouldn’t be too hard to extend inline functionality to playlists. In fact, I can imagine the inline video selection toggling between related, playlist, and user videos.
If YouTube starts doing that, people could spend hours in a single embed without even going to YouTube. In that case, they’d better roll out their embedded ads.
it might be a bit annoying for others who only want to see the particular video they’re looking at, specially when the mouse accidentally moves over the video window. This might take a bit of getting used to.
Looks like YouTube took your advice, Releena. Mouseovers no longer trigger related video selection. Now you need to play the video and click on the menu button to see related videos.
