Alodia Turns Down Maxim

Filipina gamer-blogger-cosplayer babe Alodia Gosiengfiao just turned down an offer to pose for an article in Maxim Philippines.
This is not the first time she’s snubbed the mainstream media. Previously, she rebuffed a TV offer from Maxim Philippines’ parent company ABS-CBN, an offer later taken by her friend and fellow cosplayer Dianne Lopez (Update, January 26: ABS-CBN’s Eric Ang Go, who hired Dianne, just sent me an SMS. He claims to not know Alodia.).
She was right to turn down the article. She deserves no less than the cover.
Update, January 26: Dianne just took Maxim’s offer.

[...] to think her younger lookalike Alodia could’ve been in Maxim with her. We could’ve been seeing double. [...]
I bought the issue were Sheree’s the cover. heck I love the cover and the photoshoot (angel of death sure rocks!). Maybe Edjie is not ready for the maintream yet, you know school and stuff, but we as friends are here to support her
I can’t stop staring at that cover. Sheree looks so much like Edjie.
We could’ve seen double in that issue.
let’s make Edjie wear that angel of death costume *evil grin*
Come to think of it, Death is a gamer girl. I’ve played with her before.
u cnt force her if shes nt interested plus she got a greater future making people drool over her artworks than making people drool over her….. *glares*
Kung papipiliin ka, sino mas ok si happy slip gambito o si alodia
