Guild Wars: Eye of the North Trailer

Guild Wars: Eye of North, the expansion that will bridge Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2, arrives August 31. Pre-ordering players can join the preview weekend on August 24-26. Longtime players might recognize the official acronym for this expansion: GW:EN. Gwen, the charming little girl you meet at the start of Guild Wars, returns as a tough teen in Eye of the North.

Needless to say, I will not be available for speaking engagements on preview weekend. While we await that sneak peek, check out this in-game trailer narrated by Gwen herself.

Maria Ozawa Plays Guild Wars?

Jepoy Bengero points out that, according to Wikipedia, Maria Ozawa plays Guild Wars.

Wow. I love Guild Wars. Maria speaks fluent English, so I could’ve partied with her deep in the steamy jungles of Maguuma without even knowing it. Anyone got details on her gaming habits — character names, in-game hangouts, PvE/PvP preference, gameplay style, anything?
