Automattic Buys Intense Debate: RIP Disqus?
I knew there was a reason I held off on implementing the Disqus comment system on this WordPress blog, despite Disqus’ popularity. Turns out Automattic, the WordPress guys, just bought Disqus competitor Intense Debate.
At WordCamp Philippines, I asked WordPress creator Matt Mullenweg what would happen if Disqus threaded comments couldn’t be imported into the upcoming WordPress 2.7 threaded comments. Alodia Endorses US Figure Shop
Filipina gamer Alodia Gosiengfiao now appears in ads for US figure shop Kid Nemo Company. Kid Nemo advertises on the blog of Japanese entrepreneur Danny Choo. Danny discovered Alodia through his reader’s blog two months ago.
A US toy store finds a Filipina endorser through a Japanese blogger. Love how the blogosphere connects people. 🙂
