Take On Me Literal Version!

One of the problems with offline media is its tendency to glorify irrelevance. One of the great things about online media is its ability to expose irrelevance. That’s what YouTuber Dustin McLean does, redubbing the music video for A-ha’s ’80’s hit Take On Me with lyrics that actually have something to do with the footage.

This has serious meme potential. Think of every music video you’ve ever seen with irrelevant footage. They’re just begging to get redubbed.

Lou Bonnevie and Toto Gentica: This is Fair Use

Since Lou Bonnevie and Toto Gentica of Dimitri Productions clearly do not grasp even the most basic intellectual property concepts, allow me to demonstrate to them fair use for comment and criticism in accordance with Section 185 of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines:

Lou Bonnevie and Toto Gentica
