Two IE7 Security Holes Found

It’s all over the mainstream media: Internet Explorer 7 has two massive unpatched security holes hackers could easily use to grab your personal information. The first hole spoofs Web addresses. The second hole reveals what you’re viewing.

Filipino is a Terrible Language for Tech Evangelism

Missionaries in the Philippines are lucky. The lyrical Filipino language lends itself so well to religious evangelism.

I just had to explain event-specific tagging in Filipino. A mere introduction to the idea took nearly two hundred words, many of which had six syllables — and that’s just scratching the surface of the concept!

Filpino is a terrible language for technology evangelism. And we have a long way to go in this country.
