Thanks to her geek cred, Filipina gamer-blogger-cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao is cover girl and Miss December for E-games‘ 2009 cosplay calendar. She takes center stage among mainstream Filipina models like Jamilla Obispo, Cesca Litton, and Tisha Silang.

Good to see a geek in the spotlight for a change. A traditional Filipino marketer would have put a mainstream model on the cover, and relegated the odd geek to some middling month. Clearly, there are no traditional Filipino marketers at E-games.
