Gundam 00 S2 OP2 PV: Stereo Pony – Namida no Mukou

Personal drama has always played a huge role in the Gundam metaseries. Despite its liberally sprinkled political references and insanely detailed space battles, Gundam 00 certainly does not lack personal drama.

The latest battle in the series actually involves the hero trying to reunite his copilot with an enemy ex-girlfriend, all in the heat of combat. That sort of love-on-the-battlefield drama is why the lyrics of the latest opening theme, Stereo Pony’s Namida no Mukou, fit so well with the story.
