Top French Blogger’s Client Becomes President of France
Congratulations to top French blogger Loïc Le Meur on helping his consulting client Nicholas Sarkozy become President of France.
Here’s a tip to all politicians running for office: don’t seek advice from big corporations on Internet matters. High in their glass towers, they’re too far away from trends bubbling up.
Instead, seek advice from top bloggers. They know what’s going on at ground level. If you must hire a large corporation, hire the ones with top bloggers. Edelman comes to mind.

Liam Neeson in Fallout 3
Since games are bigger than movies, games attract movie stars.
Liam Neeson is bringing his Irish lilt to the new role-playing video game “Fallout 3” from publisher Bethesda Softworks.
Neeson will voice the character of the player’s father in the latest edition of the popular franchise. The game is expected to come out for PC and next-generation consoles, but no specific platforms or release date have been announced. Bethesda acquired the “Fallout” license from Interplay.
“Fallout 3” is set in a violent postapocalyptic world filled with mutants, radiation and gang warfare. The game has been a PC mainstay over the years and had a PlayStation 2 and Xbox spinoff, “Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel,” in 2004.
Note that Liam gained geek cred from playing Jedi master Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace. Recently, Command and Conquer 3 tapped Billy Dee Williams from Star Wars and Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica. Any actor who wants pioneer starring roles in the rising interactive entertainment industry should do what gamer-blogger-cosplayer babes do: build geek credibility.
