Filipino Takes Over US PC Blog

That Damn PC

The relentless Filipino takeover of the blogosphere continues. Last month, Abe Olandres and J. Angelo Racoma took over The Blog Herald while Kevin Codamon took over PC Gamers. This week, Jayvee Fernandez took over b5media’s technology channel. Yesterday, Kevin took over That Damn PC.

Blink, and another Filipino will take over another prominent blog (or blog network). Filipinos are the best English communicators in Southeast Asia, heartily embracing social media and flat-world economics. Expect more of our best minds to follow these local pioneers to the world stage. Heck, some of them might be Filipina babes.

Five Tips for New Bloggers

Kevin Codamon asks me to list five tips for new bloggers:

1. Authority — Be the one to say it.
2. Reality — Say it like it is.
3. Brevity — Say it short.
4. Generosity — Say it to everyone.
5. Velocity — Say it now.

Filipino Takes Over US Gaming Blog

PC Gamers

Kevin Codamon is a cool dude. We hung out with gaming circles at the University of the Philippines near the close of the twentieth century, just after the Internet hit the Philippines. That’s why I admire a lot of his ideas on gaming, media, and babes (Yes, babes. You can have ideas about babes.).

That’s also why I think he’s the perfect choice to take over Creative Weblogging’s PC Gamers blog. Kevin’s writing style never fails to entertain; he knows how to give the people what they want. Go check it out; I’m subscribing.

Just the other day, Abe Olandres announced his takeover of The Blog Herald. Filipino bloggers are on a winning streak this week.
