Besides the upcoming release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, ToyCon 2009 puts the spotlight on toys as an artform. Of course, no convention of such scope would be complete without costumed fans and otaku queens.

The annual Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention, better known as ToyCon, isn’t just about the toys. It’s also about the fans — and at conventions, the most visible fans are the cosplayers. Popular Filipina cosplayer Pat Delgado shows off her big gun as Yoko Littner from the hit anime Gurren Lagann.
