Vote for YouTube Live in the Webbies!

I don’t put much stock in the Webby Awards, but I would like to see the YouTube community stick it to the snooty old snobs at Cannes. That’s why, like Nalts here, I encourage you to vote for YouTube Live in the Events category. I certainly enjoyed it, and so did 700,000 other YouTube addicts.

The Pirate Bay was Only the Beginning

This cartoon pretty much sums up the entertainment industry’s short-lived victory against The Pirate Bay. As technology marches forward to set information free, copyright trolls can win a few battles, but they won’t win the war. Heck, even the music industry plans to throw in the towel by 2011.
