Games Always Beat Movies For Me

After watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, my thoughts turned to my fondest memories of the franchise. Believe it or not, my best memories of Indy are not from the movies at all. They’re from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure (1989), in my opinion one of the best adventure games ever made.

Only in the last decade have games been trumping movies in the mainstream consciousness. In my childhood memories, however, this game always trumped its movie. In the childhood memories of today’s kids, that will probably be more the rule than the exception.

After all, to a four-year-old, a screen without a mouse is broken.
