Death Note is an amazing anime series. More than the Shinigami powers and the death note itself, it is the amazing analytic skills of Light Yagami that keeps me hooked.

It's inconceivable for any human to have such foresight, to take into consideration so many subjective variables, to forge and execute with confidence a plan of action that covers all the bases.

You don't know how many times my jaw dropped with amazement at how the events unfold in accordance to the lead character's plans and intentions or at least what he reveals later to be his plans and intentions ;-)

Come to think of it, with all the PH.D.'s working at Google, it might have just found a way to harness the collective "thought" and "analytical" power to rival the fictional anime character in real life :-)
