Here are the names of the nine people killed in the Glorietta bombing:

Maria Celeste Domingo Cruz
Jee Ann De Gracia
Lester Allan Peregrina
Liza Enriquez
Jose Allen de Jesus
Janine Marcos
Reinier Tan
David Enriquez
There’s one more person who should be on this list. One of the victims was pregnant.
Taxi driver Mario Em said he had just dropped off two female passengers at the mall when the blast hurled the two women against his vehicle, killing them instantly.
He said he pulled one of the victims, who was pregnant, from underneath his car.
Please observe a moment of silence for the victims and their families. After that, get angry, because you damn well should be.

I extend my deep condolences and prayers to the victims and families of this tragic incident. I was in the Philippines a month ago (one of my only two visits in 15 years) and brief as it was, I had a beautiful time. I started to think of retiring there when the time comes because of the warmth of the place and the people. I hope that this is just an isolated incident which will not happen again because it mars the beauty of the Philippines as I know it.
