McDonald’s Philippines’ website is a 404. They finally noticed.
Golden Arches Developement Corporation (GADC — McDonald’s Philippines) will be developing a number of websites for key marketing programs to be launched 3rd quarter of 2007. If you are a freelance webmaster or web development company and have a solid portfolio to establish track record and stability, please email the below listed documents to Ronald So-tiong (0917.820.6103, ronald.so-tiong@ph.mcd.com) of the GADC Information Technology Department.

McDonald’s blogs from the top; hope McDonald’s Philippines can follow suit. Flashy marketing websites are visually fun to design, but they’re useless without real two-way communication.
Yes, having two way communication is much better especially for a website’s growth. They could make use of blogging in order to establish this communication.

I have no idea what a 404 is, but if it means the McDonald’s Philippines website is a dud then I totally agree. I was trying to give feedback about the Mac Tonight service via an email but there’s no Contact Us page. Although the email above is for job applications, I’ll just request Mr. So-tiong to forward my email to the proper personnel. Thanks.
404 error na encounter ko na ito siguro sa link nya meroong conflict o kaya naman e masyadong mabigat yung graphics…..

hi this is not at all related to technical stuff, i just don’t know
where to air this concern about your n.s. amoranto branch, the one across
goldilocks bakeshop in retiro, near the lourdes church. this incident
im going to relay happened today, feb 6 at about 6-630pm. first, the
guard on duty was not even at his post to open the doors for customers, he
was just leaning toward the cashier doing nobody knows what. secondly,
when my nephew tried to go to the women’s toilet (he’s afraid to go
inside the men’s by himself), one of the cubicles was out of order so we
opted for the other one, and to our disgust, it was almost overflowing
with again nobony knows what?! we then went out of the restroom and
reported it to the people behind the counter, including the manager, and
nobody, not one acknowledged us?! as in no comment from anybody, it was
like, “so what?” then, we just decided to take our food out since the
child cannot relieve himself and went out of the store to hail a
cab. we were already out of the store with the cab waiting when my
companion noticed that we’re lacking our order of spaghetti, so she
hurriedly went back in to get it. when she got there, the cashier was not
even ready with it, and did not even “mind” the spaghetti being left out.
It was like nobody in that store cares for their customers?! they were
not courteous at all, did not apologize, nor showed concern for their
customers?! i do love mcdonalds, the food and service and all, so i
believe this is really an isolated incident but i hope it wont happen again..
I agree with the people who posted their comments here. I was trying to look for a “contact us” to send my complaints. And I was surprised that they did not have one.
I just want to request McDonald’s to make sure that their staff do not take for granted the “cleanliness” of meal preparation. I ordered a Longganisa meal for take out. I was suprised that my food has a strand of hair on top of the rice.
When I was waiting in line, I noticed that staff are relax (maybe because it is a Saturday, with less customer- I don’t know). I don’t expect them to work hard all the time but be sure that your staff are consistently efficient in their order taking considering that I was next in line (2 customers were already served at the other line before I got in front of the line). It is ironic that they are faster during peak time.
Ei… i need to know who is the owner of mcdonald’s philippines its for my thesis study. ;(.

I’m based here in Manila but on a holiday visit to our parental house in Dolores, Quezon. I remember last year when my family are on our way home to Dolores Quezon(very near Tiaong,Quezon) was so grateful of seeing Mcdonalds branch near the Villa Escudero, because of the long trip we decided to go on a Drive Thru and order some stuff including 4 orders of Chicken with rice and upon reaching our house in Dolores Quezon my kids reach out for their orders and started eating but to to our dismay, chicken and rice was both half cooked. I was supposed to file a complaint but since the branch was newly opened I thought that the crew and management was just on adjustment period and soon they would make everything perfect in time.
Again, this Holy week a Maundy Thursday (March 20,2008) on our way home to Tiaong my kids again crave for McChicken Spaghetti and Chicken with rice, I’m disgusted again for the stuff we bought, again half cooked rice, chicken and spaghetti according to my daughter was so much different as to its regular taste.
I’m hoping that the management could check on this matter and I believe that there are also some customers who got into the same experience that we had too.
