The paid users on livejournal, statistically speaking, will probably stay (at least until their subscriptions run out). Unfortunately, however, a lot of the affected fanbase are users who cannot afford to pay. Therefore, as much as your host may be reliable, I'm afraid it will remain off limits. That and most of them will band where their friends go, for lj uses one of the most connecting and easy to use blog systems. From what I've seen on your blog, this one's pretty confusing.
