Level Up Marketing Manager Mon Macutay has informed me that Mr. Chua has not been connected with Level Up since November 2006. Mr. Chua now works for Asian Media as gamemaster supervisor for Lineage II Southeast Asia.)
Last Saturday, I told Level Up’s JM Chua that if I had anything to tell him, I’d tell him personally.
I have nothing to say to Mr. Chua. I do, however, have something to say to his boss.

First off, what Mr. Chua did was wrong. He should not have inflicted bodily harm against Mr. Abundo for any reason at all–provoked or not. It was smart of Mike not to hit back.
However, Mike should have treated this issue simply as a personal one. The choice of words for the title of the post alone is very evident about the intention of giving JM’s company in a bad light. That was why LUG’s Marketing Manager was quick even bothered to post in this circus of a thread that Mr. Chua is no longer connected with them. He knows how “famous” this blog is and a negative headline screaming violence with his company’s name first won’t do them any good. Mike should as well made it read like: “Asian Media Supervisor Punches the Vice-President for Emerging Technologies of the Philippine Internet Commerce Society who identifies and analyzes nascent IT trends of potential benefit to the Filipino people.” I guess a more accurate headline would be “JM Chua punched me at Mangaholix - and he hits like a girl!”
Regardless whether JM is currently with LUG or AMDG, I’m sure that these companies would, and will take the logical course of action–treat it as a personal issue. Nothing more than a petty scruffle involving one of their employees and some guy. Like what was posted earlier, Mr. Chua was not representing his or any company in any manner. It was not even a company-related event, let alone committed during company hours. If Mr. Abundo is expecting JM’s company to react by giving Mr. Chua some sort of a disciplinary action, then I think he will be disappointed. Counselling was all JM got and that’s where it’ll end–a mere slap on the wrist, if you can call it that.

With regards of this issue, the problem lies here is that Mike Abundo was WELL AWARE that the name already exists and is a matter of time that the said community will buy the domain. Unfortunately, due to monetary constraints, the “asshole” decided to buy it.
AND it doesn’t stop there. He bought and REDIRECTED it to his cosplay forum in which he is promoting war against the Filcosplay site. Take note: Filcosplay never promoted the war the asshole wanted.
When everyone was notified of these events, he then said that he will be donating the domain in exchange of a gratitude — in terms of posting a sticky in one of the threads hailing him as god who bought the domain name.
We are not arguing about who owns the domain, we were arguing the fact that the “asshole” had bought it for spite because, fact remains that filcosplay has more UNIQUE hits rather than his pathetic site will ever have.
And now you accuse the filcosplay people are the ones who posts here? I highly doubt it. But unless you can specify how you knew about this.

I agree, strongly, that what JM did also represents the company he is working for right now. It is his own words against waukster, then he should live by his own words.
If JM is breaking his own words, then he does not deserve the supevisor position for AMDG’s lineage 2 gamemaster. The game is for southeast asia, what a shame it is that the malaysians and singaporeans will know how shameful, low, and lacks self-control a GM they will have.
I also strongly agree that you should have registered your domain name first before whining about it everywhere. If someone registers it before you do REGARDLESS if you have money or not, then don’t whine about it.
File a case and prove your claim, if there is a judge that will honor your case. Why are you not fighting for it on LEGAL TERMS? Afraid? No money? And finally, I will say the same thing, you should have registered your names for TradeMark. You are just nothing but a cosplay group, there will be almost zero judges who will entertain your case if your only proof is yahoo groups.
