Tom’s Hardware Sold for $10-$15 Million

Tom’s Hardware Guide

Congratulations to Omid Rahmat, CEO of Tom’s Publishing LLC, on selling established hardware review site Tom’s Hardware Guide for a rumored $10-$15 million.

A German named Dr. Thomas Pabst set up the site way back in 1996. It’s amazing what kind of business one guy’s eponymous personal site can become.

No, The Mike Abundo Effect is not for sale at any price.

Wow. Great news. I remember going to Tom’s Hardware durign the early days of trying to find a good deal for a 64MB video card. That seemed like ages ago!
