As longtime readers know, I sometimes use my blog to point out n00bs who need to vanish from the emerging Earth. That’s why I love the anime Death Note, and that’s why I dig its second ending song, Maximum the Hormone’s Zetsubou Billy.

This guy is a lead singer of band “Parfait”.
Kinda funny how this band takes off after I got into their first anime OP song from Airmaster ‘Rolling 1000 toon’. Still they are bad ASS. I love how they throw in the vis kei guys then all of a sudden, asian gangsta rapperz!!

I believe that the goth band at the beginning are Nightmare, or at least that’s what I’ve heard. Also, I have heard that Utada Hikaru makes an appearance in this - possibly as the woman with the guitar.

I’ve heard that the visual kei band at the beginning was Parfait. But When I looked some stuff up for myself it looked to me like it was Nightmare, and that would make even more sense because they are the artists of the 1st opening and ending for Death Note. If it is Nightmare, then I think the singer is Sakito…. But that’s just my theory. I wish I knew for sure.
Anyway, all I know is that the lead singer of that visual kei band is HOT. xD

Those who said the band at the beginning is Parfait are correct. Parfait is a visual/oshare kei band that is disbanded. Definitely not Nightmare. Nor is it Moi dix Mois though the vocalist’s hair does remind me vaguely of Seth’s hair.

Y’all are freakin retarded. That VK band at the beginning looks nothing like Nightmare. That singer isn’t even remotely close to looking like short little Yomi.

I don’t know. It’s possible that I read wrong, but there’s not much information on the band to begin with.
In fact o.O I can’t seem to find ANY information on them aside from what I think was a small band comment on Youtube…
BUT ANYWAYS… That’s not Moi Dix Mois and that’s not Nightmare at the beginning.

It may not look like Parfait at the beginning of the song , but it really makes me think of them . Parfait is an Oshare-kei band , so the look in the song is really … Not Parfait’s style .
All I know is that they all rock in that video. I kind of want to know who is that girl with the guitar in the video. Damn.
It may not be moi dix moi, as i cant tell who the ’singer’ is. but that drummer in the same group looks a lot like Mana. but yea, its hard as balls to find a wealth of info about a lot of jrock bands. and last i checked, this band ‘parfait’ is some indie band, cutesy kinda stuff, you know? nothing like goth at all. but what i found could be mislabeled. if anyone knows anything, post it.
