Super Twins Director Denies Sailormoon Ripoff
Dominic Zapata, director of GMA’s Sailormoon ripoff Super Twins, deserves a medal from me. People like him accelerate the fall of Philippine TV, much to my delight as a Filipino YouTuber.
Prior to the start of series, many have been pointing out that Super Twins is a rip-off of anime series such as Sailor Moon and Amazing Twins. The show’s director, Dominic Zapata, cleared things out by saying, “If you find similarities, it is outright coincidental. Hindi po ako nakakapanood ng Sailor Moon and Amazing Twins.”
He sure “cleared things out”, alright — like a hot stinking fart clears out a room. Oh, and Amazing Twins is a live-action Mandarin series, not a Japanese anime.
“Sabi ng lawyer, you shouldn’t have access to these things. It’s not something na nagawa na dati-[it has] a new story, nice drama and solid characters.”
So a Philippine TV director needs a lawyer to assure him he “shouldn’t have access” to Sailormoon, one of the most popular anime in Philippine TV history? I don’t know who’s dumber: the director or the lawyer.
I hope these Philippine TV dinosaurs never learn that they can’t lie to a connected population. That way, their constant bumbling will provide us hours of amusement before the growth of the Philippine Internet crushes them.

People who hide behind the name anonymous don’t have any right to debate the poster of this article.
You cannot justify ripping off in any way because it’s the same as stealing! Hindi masama na magkaroon ng inspiration galing sa ibang shows or libro or kwento pero may limit dapat hindi katulad ng mga napapanood ko ngayon na totally ginaya kung saan saan at pinagtagpi tagpi na lang. Buti sana kung mas maganda pa kesa sa pinanggayahan, eh para na nilang dinuraan sa mukha ung original sa totoo lang. Also, di na ba kayo naawa sa mga pinoy na nanonood ng mga shows sa Philippine TV? Reason why pumapatok sa rating ang mga shows na obviously kulang sa logic at effort eh dahil sa nasanay na ang mga pinoy na ganito lang ang kalidad ng mga shows sa Pinas. Wag kayong bulag! Mas mabuti na ang magandang quality na mga shows kahit na mahirap gawin at pagisipan kesa sa half-baked na mga shows na ginawa lang para sila kumita. Saka nakakastress na manood ng ganyang mga shows kung nagagalit at naiinis ka lang sa katangahan ng gumawa ng storya at mga actors na pumapayag naman na magdeliver ng mga katangahan na lines. Tumataas ang presyon ko!

Mr. DomZap doesn’t have a chance to defend himself if he reads this post… He’s the reason why Philippine TV will fall in the next few years because of the rip-off shows Zaido and Super Twins.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with ripping off other crations. People do it all the time. iPOD is a rip off of sony walkman.
But people expect that the rip off results in an IMPROVEMENT.
Look at the dumbass shows on filipino TV. Its not only rip off, but is just about the worst pieces of shit you can imagine.
