Philippine Animation Studios on YouTube

The Philippine animation industry pulls in $52 million a year, so I’m glad it’s making inroads into social video. Check out the YouTube channels of Artfarm Asia and Pixel Storm Studio. (Via Joey Alarilla.)

    Dear Mr. Abundo,

I’m an Architecture Graduate but traditional animation is my first love. The usual problem is I am always unpaid or underpaid by sub-contractual animation studios. Is there no way to improve this kind of problem? Please help me find a better job, still the traditional animation. I hope you can help me through your listings or recommendations, etc. I have no ways and means to learn flash animation, but if I would be given a chance through free training or scholarship, I would be willing to undergo such offer.
    For your attention and consideration.

    MR. EDWIN M. VILLANUEVA
    Traditional Animation Artist
