Dondi Mapa used to say Filipinos need IT market education. While Filipinos are natural adopters of social media, we have a lot of work to do before becoming a race of digital prosumers.

Lauro Vives asks people on the street about technopreneurship. Conclusion: most have no fucking clue. These are the people who need Joey Alarilla’s book.

  4. That’s similar to how I would define it.

    I do, however, make a slight distinction between entrepreneurship by delivering a hi-tech product, and entrepreneurship by using a hi-tech product. I believe it’s important for us to, at some (perhaps distant) point in time, shift from being “hi-tech driven” to “drivers of hi-tech”. When exactly that should happen, I do not know yet.
